Background and release


Mirwais worked for two years on his album, and "Naive Song" was one of the last songs he has composed forProduction.


Several remixes were released to promote the song. Dave Clark, Les rhythmes digitales and Olav Basoski contributed.


The song reached number two on the US Club dance chart on April 14, 2001.[1]



Music video


Jean Baptiste Mondino, who had previously produced a video for Mirwais's former band Taxi Girl,[2] directed the video for Naive Song. The video aired for the first time in April 2000.[3]
