商號




商號可以指：



  • 商業名稱

  • 企業



定義


「商號」在中文語意分兩種：商店或營業上使用名稱。昔日商家招牌上的名稱叫做「商號」、「牌號」、「字號」及「店號」，而衍生出指商店，像是「老字（商）號」。


現今兩岸三地法規中，臺灣跟香港採前者（商店）指營業主體，臺灣限於非法人組織、香港則不限；但臺灣亦有例外取後者（營業上使用名稱），例如《中華民國刑法》第253條：
