International Plaza and Bay Street is a shopping mall located in the Westshore business district of Tampa, Florida. The mall, which opened in 2001, was built to give travelers an option to shop and dine in high-class surroundings, while at the same time be able to stay near Tampa International Airport (which borders the property). In 2006, the Renaissance Hotel Tampa/International Plaza was opened on the premises, making International Plaza one of a handful of malls in the U.S. to have a hotel directly on the mall property.

About

The mall's anchor stores are the second Nordstrom in Florida (their first was at Town Center at Boca Raton), Neiman Marcus, and Dillard's, which moved to this mall from the nearby WestShore Plaza, and they all opened within the mall in 2001 alongside Lord & Taylor, which closed in 2003 and became Robb & Stucky which in turn was taken over by Life Time Fitness and Ballard Designs. A vacant anchor pad on the northwest side of the mall was to be filled by Saks Fifth Avenue, which also would have moved from WestShore but closed there.

Adjacent to mall itself are four corporate office towers; Corporate Center One, Two, Three, and Four. Center One was built in 1999, Center Two within the mall in 2001, and Center Three in 2004. Center Four, which encompasses 247,000 sq ft (22,900 m2) of office space, was completed in 2008. Corporate Centers One through Four are owned by Cousins Properties Incorporated, while the mall itself was built by and is still owned by Taubman Centers.

Bay Street

Bay Street located on the Upper Level adjacent to the Food Court, is an open-air area with restaurants and bars open later than the mall.

Restoration Hardware's four-story design gallery, RH Tampa, is the first of its kind to open in Florida, and is located by The Capital Grille.

Section L

In 2008 International Plaza began working on a standalone project at the edge of their property along Westshore Boulevard. After many months of construction the mall opened the Bay area's first, multi-story Crate & Barrel along with upscale restaurant Ocean Prime. The tenants opened for business in May 2009 and the location was given the name Section L.
