The National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS), operating under the name The Arts Society, is a national organisation in the United Kingdom promoting education in the arts and the preservation of artistic heritage.


It was founded in 1968 and operates through a network of regional membership societies, with a headquarters in London. It is a registered charity under English law.[1]


The charity was rebranded as The Arts Society in 2017,[2] but retains its official name.


Its founding President was Sir Trenchard Cox.[citation needed] As of 2018[update]Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Gloucester is the society's patron, and Loyd Grossman is its president.[3]

The Volkswagen Group MQB platform is the company's strategy for shared modular design construction of its transverse, front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout (optional front-engine, four-wheel-drive layout) automobiles. Volkswagen spent roughly $60bn [1] developing this new platform and the cars employing it. The platform underpins a wide range of cars from the supermini class to the mid size SUV class.
