1969 Newcastle-under-Lyme by-election




The Newcastle-under-Lyme by-election of October 30, 1969 was caused by the death of Labour MP Stephen Swingler. It was held on the same day as four other by-elections[1] and the seat was retained by Labour.[2] (in Glasgow Gorbals, Islington North, Paddington North, and Swindon.)

The Volkswagen Group MQB platform is the company's strategy for shared modular design construction of its transverse, front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout (optional front-engine, four-wheel-drive layout) automobiles.
