Claire Allen (29 July 1853 – 22 December 1942) was an American architect prominent in southern Michigan in the early twentieth century, best known for designing several county courthouses. Allen was head of the architectural firm of Claire Allen & Sons and practiced architecture in Jackson for 52 years. They designed numerous classic examples of American neoclassical architecture and colonial revival buildings in Michigan and Iowa.
